3/1/2008 - Joseph H. Guerry, SRA has been appointed Vice Chair of the Appraisal Institute AI Reports project team. The project team was formed in July 2004 and was given the task of developing a protocol under which alternative appraisal report forms could be developed. After extensive research and presentations, the team developed the first AI Reports form, which was designed to be more flexible and to fit the needs of the appraiser as well as the mortgage lending community. Today, the AI Reports project team is still in existence and working toward developing remaining reports that are useful to the appraisal profession. 6/14/2008 - Our bookkeeper, formerly Lisa M. O'Kane, has gotten married. Lisa married Chris McMillan on Saturday, June 14, 2008 in Sullivan's Island, SC. We, at The Guerry Group, are delighted for Lisa and pray that the Lord blesses her marriage in the many years to come. Lisa's new name is Lisa M. 8/28/2009 - Lisa McMillan has had a baby boy! At 4:30pm on Friday, August 28, 2009; Lisa gave birth to Christopher Carson McMillan. He weighed a healthy 7lbs. 7oz. and was 20 1/4 inches long. All of us here at The Guerry Group are overjoyed with the arrival of this beautiful baby and know that he is blessed to be born into such a loving family.
